A standard ride takes place every Saturday, Sunday and holidays from the Westbury HS. Rides leave promptly at 9:00 am. Directions:Take the Northern State Pkwy. to ex. 32 north. Go north on Post Ave. The school will be on your right just after Jericho Tpke. Park by the tennis courts. Riders will generally pause at the Syosset Fire House at about 9:45.
Our membership year runs from January through December of each year (your first year may not be a full year). New members who join after October 1 are entitled to carry over membership all of the following year. All others must renew by January to avoid interruption of the newsletter. Check the mailing label on the back of your bulletin which should display your membership expiration date. Follow this link for more information and an application.
Bicycle safety is promoted on all club rides, but riders must assume responsibility for their own personal safety. The use of helmets is required on all club rides! Club rides are graded according to the degree of difficulty. If you're in doubt about your cycling ability, try out a ride one class below the class that you are unsure about and work your way up.
