C+ Rides Schedule

Nancy Cymbalsky has volunteered to take over the job as C+ Ride Chair and will be coordinating the ride schedule as of August. Thanks Nancy, I know you'll do a great job.

Coming up this month will be the Huntington Bicycle Club's Gold Coast Tour on the 11th. Riding with the Tour or just out on a regular club ride will find you on the Tour route as it winds through all the areas that our club usually rides.

Saturday, July 3
Charles Elioseff (516) 889-8527. I love a mystery and so does Charles. Come on out and we'll solve the mystery of the July 3rd ride. 40+ miles.

Sunday, July 4
Kenny Schack (516) 921-3553. REMOTE START from the Syosset Firehouse at 9:30 a.m. will start off the festivities for this Independence Day. 50 miles to an undisclosed destination.

Saturday, July 10 Tony Bellino (516) 624-4922. Tony will lead the group north before he leads them south and somewhere along the line lunch will be at Mario's. 40+ miles.

Sunday, July 11
Roy Roberts (718) 886-2921. The scenario's the same as last month and I am confident that the Throggs Neck Bridge will loom in all its glory. 45 miles.

Saturday, July 17
Modesta Kraemer (718) 445-7793. A slow start to leading rides this season but don't plan on a slow and leisurely ride. Modesta's off and running to Bethpage on her new Merlin and you'll have to double time to keep up with her for 42 miles.

Sunday, July 18
June Robins (212) 410-2438. June's game plan is two-fold. First a great ride and then to get everyone good and hungry and beat everyone back to the lot to get ready for the LIBC party.

Saturday, July 24
Larry Shoots (718) 327-4569. Once upon a time a cable TV station wanted to do a segment on cycling on Long Island. Bill Selsky put together a route designed to get every one to the Bayville area for the filming. Filming the segment was postponed indefinitely but the route to Bayville remains as a standard ride route. - 40+ miles.

Sunday, July 25
Daniel Goldschmidt (516) 933-1758. Daniel says, "follow the hybrid" and he will have everyone off and running to somewhere. Probably about 45 miles.

Saturday, July 31
Modesta Kraemer (718) 445-7793. Modesta's geared up and ready with a new route she's planning. Will there be a cue sheet for this ride? Perhaps 45-50 miles
